← Seeing the courage to forgive in ‘Courageous’
Nathan Hayes stands at his father’s grave and forgives him for his absence in “Courageous.”
What was the speech he gave when he went to his fathers grave site.
Good question, Alexis. I wrote this after seeing the movie in the theater, and don’t remember exactly what he said. The gist of it, though, is that he told father that he was finally able to accept God’s love for him despite his dad abandoning him. He also forgave his father for the abandonment. I should check the DVD, though, and update this blog post with his precise words. It would be a nice addition.
